Shakespeares Globe Exhibition and Tour

"what are we doing today?"

The Globe Theatre, founded by Sam Wanamaker, is a faithful reconstruction of the Elizabethan playhouse.

Throughout the year, a fascinating guided tour of the theatre is included in your visit to Shakespeare's Globe Exhibition, bringing this extraordinary space to life. Experience today's working theatre and visit the world of Bankside, the Soho of Elizabethan London and follow Sam's struggle to recreate an authentic Globe for future generations. Open throughout the year, Shakespeare's Globe Exhibition is one of the most exciting ways to discover and rediscover the Globe Theatre.
