The Shakespeare Houses are an excellent destination for children and we welcome educational groups of all ages.

For children studying Shakespeare, our Education department can arrange accompanying lectures, workshops and classes to support the visit. Enquiries should be made through the Group Visits Office on 01789 201806/836.

The Trust holds Family Events across the year at Mary Arden's Farm ranging from Folk Music Day to Apple Day - as well as children's school holiday activities. We also have many events to celebrate public holidays and national events like National Poetry Day, Christmas and Easter celebrations. Birthplace - many eateries close to the Birthplace

Nashs House & New Place - many eateries close to the house. The Great Garden is perfect for picnics.

Halls Croft - The Dining Room on site

Anne Hathaways Cottage - Tea Garden opposite (seasonal opening), local pub in Shottery serves food.

Mary Ardens Farm - Mary Arden's Kitchen on site (seasonal opening)

All five houses have a gift shop with items that relate to the era of the House. All stock gifts suitable for children.
