Sedgewick Earth Sciences Musem with a fossil handling table, a rock poetry board (you can suggest good words to dexcribe the rocks ) a lovely reading area full of books for young children about dinosaurs and fossils and a large wooden puzzle of said monsters in twop layers shiwing the bones underneath; we love going there

We do strongly suggest you ring Sedgwick Museum of Earth Sciences before you set off on your family day out, just to make sure they are open and to confirm admission prices, there is nothing worse than disappointed kids in the back of your car after a long journey.
