Salt Pots Ceramic Studio is a paint your own pottery studio based in beautiful Saltaire in West Yorkshire.

You can come and along and choose from our huge range of pottery including classic crockery, money boxes, novelty animals and photo frames. Then you sit and paint away taking as long as you like to finish your masterpiece and, once finished, leave it with us to glaze and fire and it will be ready to collect within a week. No artistic skills are necessary: we have all sorts of tricks up our sleeve to help you create your masterpiece.

We sell tea, coffee and a selection of cakes. Squash is free. You are welcome to bring your own party food and drink for party bookings.

We have decaf coffee and tea and some herbal teas. All of our cakes are made locally but we cannot guarantee the absence of nuts, gluten etc.

Salt Pots displays some art work, jewellery and other crafts which are for sale. We also make commission pieces to order.

Small toilet available on the same floor as studio.

We can warm milk and baby food.

We are located on Gordon Terrace which is on the A650/Bingley Road which leads into and out of Bradford. Buses from Keighley, Bingley and Bradford stop on Gordon Terrace and buses from Leeds stop on Leeds Road which runs parallel. Saltaire train station is a 5 minute walk away. You don’t have to be artistic to paint a piece of pottery. We have all sorts of sponges, stencils and ideas to help you! Salt Pots is on the first floor and we have no lift but we will do our best to help you if you have trouble with mobility. There is space to leave pushchairs on the ground floor although we advise that, if at all possible during busy periods, you do not bring pushchairs.
