STEAM is a great day out for the whole family. Follow the incredible story of the GWR through lots of imaginative displays and plenty of hands-on exhibits. Build a bridge and shunt wagons. Have a go at putting a locomotive together. Take a ride on our train-driving simulator.

"i'm hungry"

Hot and cold drinks and light refreshments at our Station Buffet

"Can I have one of those?"

All sorts! Thomas the Tank engine through to specialist books and model railway sets.

"i need a wee"

Full toilet facilities including baby change

and baby come too...

we can warm baby food brought on the visit

"are we there yet?"

Follow signs to North Car Park of Outlet Centre. STEAM is next door to the Outlet Centre. And STEAM is just a fifteen minute walk from Swindon Railway Station.
