The Royal Air Force Museum Cosford has a brilliant Fun n Flight area where children and adults alike will be fascinated. Packed with hands on excitement, it�s the easy way to answer all those questions about how planes stay up in the air. Whether your testing you ability to fly a plane or guiding a Hercules to the drop zone, you�ll be learning and having a good time.
We also have an exciting advanced Flight Simulator which creates an instant flying experience. Choose to fly in formation with the Red Arrows or experience the thrills of the Eurofighter � the most advanced aircraft ever built.
Interactive touch screen kiosks provide information on 100 years of flight along with an aircraft quiz. It will answer your questions and test your skill and knowledge.
The Museum uses its unique and fascinating collections to produce a programme of activities for school and educational visitors at all levels.
Our welcoming Visitor Centre is the perfect place to start your day - and when you fancy a break from all the excitement, pop into our restaurant which serves both hot and cold food, or ask for a picnic to enjoy in our spacious grounds. Our Checkpoint Charlie Cafe located within the National Cold War Exhibition serves a selection of light snacks and drinks.
Round off your visit to our well stocked shop where you will find a wide range of gifts, books, clothing and toys.
We have toilet facilities catering for male, female, disabled and baby changing facilities.
Unfortunately, we currently do not sell baby food or offer milk-warming facilities.
To get to Royal Air Force Museum Cosford by: Car - We are just 1 mile from Junction 3 on the M54 motorway (follow signposts). Train � Cosford (Wolverhampton to Shrewsbury line) then 1/2 mile walk, please check timetable before travelling.
RAF Museum Cosford is one day out that everyone from small children upwards will enjoy whatever the weather. Access to and around the museum is easy, with wide aisles for pushchairs and wheelchairs.
