An interestingly fun-filled and educational time awaits you at Rookery Open Farm! A safe and clean environment, mainly under cover, has been created on this commercial sheep and cattle farm for families and school groups to enjoy themselves whilst learning about farming methods, so it's a great spot to undertake some extra credit work or do some secret schooling.
Attractions at Rookery Open Farm include the slurpy lambing and calving season (19th March to 30th April), a large pets' corner full of cuties, waterfowl area, pigmy goats, baby calves incubator hatching, two bouncy castles, miniature tractors, outdoor play area with loads of fun equipment, undercover sand pit and go karts!
And now they also offer an indoor play experience as well, so you're covered whatever the great British summer is doing! Multiple levels with tube slides, rollers, punch bags, stepping stones, ramps, spider nets and squashy wedges plus a dedicated play area for the under 4s to keep them safe and sound and yet getting just as much exercise as the rest of them.
They also do birthday parties and other special events throughout the season, see their events page through our handy little for further details and to start making some plans!
