Ribble Steam Railway
The Ribble Steam Railway is based on the docks in Preston.
Visitors can travel behind one of the restored steam engines in old fashioned carriages enjoying a three mile round trip around the docks and along the riverbanks, seeing views only attainable on this railway.
They also have an extensive museum that houses a number of industrial locomotives, some of which you are permitted to get hands-on with.
