The Rhyl SeaQuarium offers a whopping 9 different zones showcase amazing sea creatures form all around the world! Loads to see, loads to do and loads to learn! There are various keeper talks and feeding demonstrations (some of which you can help with if you're lucky!) held throughout the day at many differing tanks so to get the most form your trip be sure to check out what's happening when as you pick up your tickets at reception.
If they're old hands at aquariums already then why not splash out the extra few pound per person and take a 45 minutes Behind The Scenes Tour, where kids can visit otherwise prohibited areas and find out all the aquarium's secrets!
Young kids will particularly love the Touch Pool exhibit where they can get their hands on some cool but harmless sea creatures like an anemone or a mysterious Mermaid's Purse…
Plus outside the Sea Lion Cove offers above and below water views of their playful tribe of sea lions as they frolic about in their 33,000 gallon tank! There are also daily feeds and twice daily shows with their lovingly looked after African Fur Seals, so you can see them show off their skills and perform some gentle tricks so long as they're in the mood.

We do strongly suggest you contact Rhyl SeaQuarium before you set off on your family day out, just to make sure they are open and to confirm admission prices, as there is nothing worse than disappointed kids in the back of your car after a long journey.
2016 Opening Details:
10am to 4pm daily with some seasonal restrictions to exterior exhibit.
Sea Lion Cove shows at 1pm and 3pm and last 15 minutes. Harbour Seals at noon and 4pm.
