This is the headquarters for the RSPB. The Lodge reserve has two nature trails (the heath trail and the quarry trail), which are 3.5 km long in total. Lots of events throughout the year - check the weblink for details.

We do strongly suggest you ring RSPB Nature Reserve before you set off on your family day out, just to make sure they are open and to confirm admission prices, there is nothing worse than disappointed kids in the back of your car after a long journey.
