Priory Country Park

"what are we doing today?"

Priory Country Park is an established green area, of around 360 acres, made up of lakes, meadows and woodland, partially enclosed within a bend in the river Great Ouse.

It is managed, for the benefit of both wildlife and visitors, by Bedford Borough Council as a site for passive recreation, including: Walking; Fishing; Dog walking; Cycling; Sailing; Canoeing and Kite Flying.

There are large meadows that offer a versatile space for children to play, dogs to run, or just to sit and look at the views without the intrusion of buildings.
