Potstop paint-your-own pottery studio is a light and airy space where you can come with your children to have some creative fun.

Come and choose from our wide range of pottery blanks from cups, plates and bowls to animal collectibles, moneyboxes or wall plaques.

Make lasting keepsakes with baby or children’s hand or footprints, create beautiful wedding gifts or signature plates or paint personal presents for friends or relatives.

We run special school holiday workshops and our popular Ladies' Nights are held monthly (contact us for latest dates and details).

Why not hold your children’s party here? We set up the studio for your group and have space for you to bring your own party tea.

Once your masterpiece is finished, we will glaze and fire it ready to be collected a week later.

Potstop is happy to offer complementary tea, coffee, squash and biscuits to all painters.

We have toilet facilities and space for nappy changing.

We can offer hot water to warm milk or food.

We are a short walk from Knebworth train station (direct link to Kings Cross, Stevenage and Cambridge). And the village is well-served by buses. By road, follow the A1(M) to Junction 6 (Welwyn) then follow signs to Knebworth. Or Junction 7 (Stevenage), then the A602, then B197 to Knebworth. Once in Knebworth, Station Road crosses the main high street (London Road) and Potstop is set back from the road between Cheese Yes Please and Scruffs!

We are baby and toddler-friendly – we have highchairs and an overflowing toybox and space for the inevitable nappy change. Just as importantly we offer tea, coffee, squash and biscuits for our painters. We have parking directly outside and can happily accommodate car seats and buggies.
