Portsmouth Historic Dockyard is home to world-famous ships, HMS Victory, HMS Warrior 1860 and the Mary Rose Museum, plus a leading UK maritime museum, the National Museum of the Royal Navy.

Testing both skill and bravery, Action Stations represents today's Navy and a boat trip gives a view of the Royal Navy fleet up close.

Places to eat, drink and relax... Portsmouth Historic Dockyard has a number of catering outlets throughout the site. All of these outlets can be accessed for free (except during special events when a ticket to enter the site may be required). Enjoy a hot meal, cake or sandwich at Boathouse No.7 restaurant. Visit Costa Coffee for a warming tea or coffee or the Georgian Tearooms for hot and cold meals. With a variety of different menus there is something for everyone to enjoy!

All the restaurants serve a variety of healthier options and Boathouse No. 7 serves childrens lunch boxes.

There are toilets throughout the site including disabled toilets. They are situated in Boathouse No.7 restaurant, Action Stations, The National Museum of the Royal Navy and Port side of HMS Victory.

There is a baby changing facility in Boathouse No.7 restaurant.

...got any top tips?

Our tickets are valid for one year from date of purchase. So anything that cannot be visited on your first day with us can be seen at any point throughout the year! HMS Victory, Mary Rose Museum and a Harbour Tour can only be visited once but the National Museum of the Royal Navy, Action Stations and HMS Warrior 1860 can be visited over and over and over again within the year. What amazing value! There is also a huge events offer throughout the year including many children's events in the hols!

  Opening Times: The Historic Dockyard opens at 10am everyday throughout the year, except when closed on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

From April-October: Last tickets to the attractions are sold at 4.30pm and the Dockyard gates are closed at 6.00pm

From November - March: Last tickets to the attractions are sold at 4.00pm and the Dockyard gates are closed at 5.30pm
