Porthcurno Beach

"what are we doing today?"

Porthcurno Beach

Soft and sandy beach with pleasant swimming.
The tour de force is the Minack Theatre, an open-air, Greek inspired amphitheatre built high into the rocks on the cliffs overlooking the bay.

From May to September you can see plays and music being performed here against the stunning backdrop of Porthcurno Bay and the Logan Rock headland beyond.

Access to Porthcurno Bay is easy by road: there's a carpark 200 meters away.
The underground Porthcurno Telegraph museum near the beach is well worth a visit.
On the beach itself there are toilets with disabled facilities, a cafe and a lifeguard hut.
Dogs are not permitted.
Please note that the address given is for the local tourist information centre, so please do plan your journey independently.
