"what are we doing today?"

The wonderfully inclusive Ponderosa Rural Therapeutic Centre helps bridge the gap between disabled and able-bodied children of all ages and abilities, offering a variety of fun, stimulating and above all accessible activities where they can all play and learn together! The entire place is wheelchair and pushchair friendly throughout with well trained and supportive staff on hand if you need them too.
Kids of all kinds can use the zip wire slides, have a mini holiday on the beach area with pirate ship (yar!) and hit the sandpits, plus enjoy outdoor play equipment and indoor soft play with slides and balls aplenty! There's also a nature trail with quiz leaflet if it's all too much and they could do with a quiet stroll away from the excitement!
Plus you can get hands on in the Bunny Barn (aww) and Reptile Room (eek!) with supervised handling sessions; visit tropical and cold water fish plus their buddies the crabs and snails in the Aquatica Zone; plus take pony rides (every day during summer, weekends only in winter)! You can also pick up animal food for 50p which you can feed to their lucky llamas, picky pigs, greedy goats, snacking sheep, delightful donkeys and rockin' reindeer.

Watch your fingers!
When it comes to lunch (because you will be here all day, guaranteed!) they've got picnic tables scattered all around the farm including an undercover area for whichever extreme the Great British Summer is throwing at you, but also an ice cream parlour and restaurant if you don't fancy toting the extra kit. You can also book children's parties here too!
Plus summer holidays events often include things like Falconry Displays, Magic Shows and Circus Skills Workshops!
