Pili Palas Nature World is Anglesey’s top family award winning attraction.

With something for everyone, the day will fly by whatever the weather.

With a free quiz to guide you around, enter a jungle full of tropical butterflies, sing with Elvis the parrot, visit Billy the 14ft Burmese Rock Python, walk through lizard land. Then, go through terrapin tunnel and into the learning zone where you’ll find interesting facts about butterflies and our amazing world. There are also activities for the whole family to enjoy!

In the bug zone you’ll come face to face with all sorts of creepy crawlies. Discover more in our tropical hide, then, cuddle a cute rabbit in pets corner before walking out into the farmyard and onto our nature trail: the perfect place for all explorers to find bugs, animals and wild birds.

Kids can let off steam in a choice of play areas. We have a soft play area for young children, an adventure playground with Lenny’s castle, giant bouncy castle, ride-on tractors and a brand new fun barn (2011)

During school holidays, you’ll have extra treats as we have lots of animal handling sessions, giving you the chance to hold snakes, lizards, rabbits, giant millipedes, hissing cockroaches and much, much more. We also have competitions, dare you to try bush tucker trials and even have spooky lantern parades after dark over Halloween.

The fun never ends at Pili Palas!

Visit the Chipmunk café at Pili Palas. We have a wide selection of hot and cold snacks for the whole family to enjoy. Home cooked meals are made to order using fresh local produce whenever possible. A wide range of teas, fair trade coffees, hot chocolates and cold drinks. We also sell freshly whipped ice creams (during the summer months). Eat indoors and watch the chipmunks play and enjoy free wi-fi connection or outside with a choice of picnic areas to choose from. We also have a sheltered seated area for picnics on rainy days!

All our meals are hand made to order to satisfy all dietary needs.

You’ll find something for all ages in our gift shop. From post cards, souvenirs, gifts for friends and family, soft toys, explorer kits and books. Even if you only have a small amount of pocket money you’ll find something to treasure here.

We have a baby changing room as well as ladies and gents toilets and a high dependency disabled unit complete with a bed and hoist to cater for all needs.

We have a small selection of baby food for sale and are able to supply hot water jugs to heat bottles and microwave food. We ask parents to check the temperature of any food or milk heated before feeding to infants.

From the mainland, follow the A55 towards Holyhead, Anglesey. Take the second exit straight after crossing the Britannia Bridge signposted Amlwch and Benllech and follow the brown signs to Pili Palas. We are about 15min from Bangor. From Holyhead, follow the A55 towards Menai Bridge, Take the exit signposted Benllech and follow the brown signs to Pili Palas.

Most of Pili Palas is indoors and is fully wheelchair and buggy friendly. Don’t forget to bring your camera!! You may like to bring wellies on rainy days to enjoy a walk along our nature trail. We have multiple disabled parking spaces next to the entrance and are wheelchair and mobility scooter friendly throughout.
