Peterborough Lido is the place to be during the Summer.
Boasting three outdoor heated swimming pools, of which the main pool is 50m long, a teaching pool and paddling pool.
There really is no better way to enjoy the summer sun than bathing at one of the country’s few remaining Lidos.
Also featuring a large lawn area with play facilities, a balcony for sunbathing and refreshment area, why not make a day of it at the Lido.
Special family tickets are available throughout the summer so it can be a great budget family adventure!
Children using the pool under the age of eight must be accompanied and supervised by a parent/guardian or a suitable, responsible adult who is at least 18 years old. The responsible adult must be in the pool at the same time as the child. Children under the age of 5 must be accompanied by at least one adult. An adult may accompany up to two children between 5 and 8 years old. Vivacity operates a suitable swimwear policy that must be followed at all times.

We do strongly suggest you contact Peterborough Lido before you set off on your family day out, just to make sure they are open and to confirm admission prices, as there is nothing worse than disappointed kids in the back of your car after a long journey.
2016 Opening Details:
The Lido is open daily May through October from 9am to 8pm with an early morning swim from 7.30am to 9am every Sunday.
Peterborough has an onsite cafe: The Pancake Cabin, offering hot and cold food.
Healthy eating options are available.

Male, female and disabled toilets and changing rooms are available. All changing rooms are open planned.

Peterborough Lido is on Bishops Road, just off the A15 Bourges Boulevard near Rivergate or is within walking distance of town centre. There are also bus routes with stops nearby.

Peterborough Lido is buggy friendly with lots of space for the little ones to enjoy. Simply pack your swimming costumes, bring your inflatable’s and have a great time. Disabled access, disable changing rooms and a hoist is available.
