Peter Pans Playground
Peter Pan's Playground is a charming little adventure playground that’s fully enclosed for your peace of mind, with fun features for kids including slides, swings and climbing frames, plus a couple of interactive water spouts! Ideal for cooling off in summer.
There is also an open air cafe, Grace's Place, serving fresh refreshments and welcoming families, but you’re also welcome to pincnic in the more spacious areas of the park.
Best not to bring balls and Frisbees here unless the kids are competent with them, there’s not too much room when it’s busy!
It’s a great little surprise for kids exploring the Volks Electric Railway line (see our listing for full information) as it has it’s own stop, which is officially called Half Way Station, but apparently known locally as Peter Pan's.
It’s got great access for families who don’t drive too, with a bus stopping really close at the Old Steine from whence you just walk along Madeira Drive. It is immediately to the east of the Yellowave Beach Sports venue, and is very popular.
If you've had fun on your family day out to Peter Pans Playground, tell us about it your visit, so other people will know it's a great place to go as well.
It may be worth checking out Peter Pans Playground's website to see if there are any special events or seasonal fun things to do that may be going on during the day.
