Pen-y-fan Pond
Pen-y-fan Pond is one of the last remaining canal feeder reservoirs in Wales.
This popular summertime family destination offers safe, flat, open spaces to picnic, fly a kite, kick a ball or take an easy ramble. Follow the ‘Alien Invasion Trail’ around the park and discover who’s been visiting!
Experienced walkers can use the park as a base to explore the beautiful and historic countryside around Manmoel. Fishing is permitted on the pond but please make sure you get your day ticket from Pontllanfraith Leisure Centre beforehand.
Please note that the postcode is for satnav to get you into the area but is not the actual destination. It should be signposted but please do plan your journey independently.
If you've had fun on your family day out to Pen-y-fan Pond, tell us about it your visit, so other people will know it's a great place to go as well.
