There is no lifeguard cover because the clear waters are extremely safe for swimming, snorkelling or anything else you care to do. The powdery white sands are particularly rich in unusual shells.

There any immediate facilities of any kind.

Dogs are welcome at any time of year provided they are kept on a lead.

You can get to Tresco by helicopter from Penzance or by boat from St Mary's.
