Paul's Pirates is situated on Park Farm South. If you take a right after Sainsbury's on Northampton road and then turn left onto Rutherford Drive (near the Bannatyne's gym) you then take a right onto Booth drive until you see Chubb security centre. After Chubb security centre there are some silver gates that you drive through and hopefully you'd see our building. (There’s a map on our website!)
Wear socks!
Purpose built kids playgrounds follow a simple pattern. Big toys to tire the kids plus cafe for the grown ups available as a drop in or ready made party place.
As such the execution of these aspects at Pauls is spot on. Recommended by a friend, the big pirate ship themed place is friendly, safe, clean and good value. Three kids plus two grown ups including a food allowance for a shade over a tenner is well worth it. There is a big screen telly that could even keep footy dads happy and on this visit a book stall.
Like a lot of these places it is out on an industrial estate but that actually works both ways. Yes you are a captive but no distractions means you get involved a lot more. Especially in the ball pit...
There are a couple of areas Pauls Pirates needs to finesse. A healthier menu would be a good start and a slightly larger grown ups area, for example opening up the dedicated kids parties areas if they are not booked. But you really cannot argue with two smiling toddlers and a happy four year old. Not to mention the peace from their sleep in the car on the way home...
