Children will love the Swiss Chalet at Osborne House where the princes and princesses learnt the skills of household management, while for grown ups there's the Victorian Walled Garden, now restored to its former glory! With its noble setting and wonderful views across the Solent, Osborne House fully deserves it's place as one of the most appreciated visitor attractions in the Isle of Wight.
There's a pushchair park at the entrance thereafter you must carry or use one of their baby slings, which they'll happily lend you.
Kids are certainly welcome as there's a children's play area located near the visitor car park, with picnic space on the side of it. There are kids' trails and activity sheets available on request plus the kids are welcome to tear around the grounds too!
Free parking 50m from reception centre, and additional parking a further 230m from the house entrance, though disabled guests may be let out at the entrance itself. There are 4 dining options: the a la carte Terrace Restaurant, a self service cafe, the Swiss Cottage refresher stand, and the Beach Cafe offering, amongst other things, great local ice cream!

It may be worth checking out Osborne House's website to see if there are any special events or seasonal fun things to do that may be going on during the day.
We do strongly suggest you contact Osborne House before you set off on your family day out, just to make sure they are open and to confirm admission prices, as there is nothing worse than disappointed kids in the back of your car after a long journey.
