Take an underwater adventure around the waters of the world and come face-to-face with hundreds of awesome creatures.

Home to all your favourites, from tiny terrapins and stunning sharks to graceful stingrays and a weirdly wondderful octopus.

With plasma screen documentaries, fantastic interactive displays and regular feeding presentations, you can discover more about the spectacular aquatic world.

Be enchanted by the latest additions to the Oceanarium family, two very cute Oriental small clawed otters! Watch them swim, splash, feed and play in their exotic, naturally themed oasis.

The Oceanarium is open daily from 10am, with extended opening hours during the summer evenings. Closed Christmas Day. And remember, your ticket is valid throughout the day!

Enjoy a relaxing break in the family-friendly Offshore Cafe a contemporary beach side venue with stunning views across the bay. Delicious hot and cold snacks, meals, refreshments and childrens menus are available. Ice cream kiosk open throughout the summer. We proudly brew Starbucks Coffee.

Healthy children's meal options are available including fruit, freshly squeezed orange juice and fruit smoothies.

Visit The Cove gift shop - everything you need for an afternoon at the beach plus unique gifts and souvenirs to suit all ages, tastes and pockets.

All toilets (including disabled) and baby changing facilities are located on the ground floor.

The Oceanarium is located next to Bournemouth Pier, just a 5-minute walk from the town centre. From the A338 Wessex Way, follow the brown tourist signs for the Oceanarium, Pier & Beaches. Pay & Display car parking is available at the Bath Road or BIC car parks.

To help you make the most of your visit, your Oceanarium ticket is valid all day. To be re-admitted, just show your receipt to the admissions staff.
