Oaker Wood Leisure
Oaker Wood Leisure Outdoor Activity site is set on the Herefordshire Shropshire border between Ludlow and Leominster.

Set in 175 acres of privately owned woodland complete with 2 scenic lakes, this is children’s paradise, real mud, real trees, real water and real rope swings.

We offer a range of activities for pre-booked groups. Junior quad bike trekking through our woodland is a favourite for Birthday Parties.

Swinging through the tree tops on our Aerial High Rope Adventure Trail sets hearts pounding but gives children a real sense of achievement.

If they want to get wet then raft building and fun and games with friends on the rafts is a great way to get them active outside in the summer months.

Others activities include Climbing and Abseiling wall, Target Shooting, Low Rope Challenge Course, High Rope Team Building Challenges and Paintball. We specialise in Children’s birthday parties, school residential camps and activity days.

New for 2011 is our Summer Holiday Children’s Activity Days where you can leave your children with us and they will be able to sample a range of our taster activities.

Enjoy an Oaker Wood Leisure Barbecue from £2.50 per person. Free soft drinks included with all activities.

We can cater for special diets.

Ladies' and gentlemen's toilets on site. Oaker Wood Camp has its own toilets and shower area away from the main activity site.

Oaker Wood Leisure is located between the villages of Yarpole and Kingsland. From the main A49 just south of Ludlow take the B4362 towards Presteigne, continue for 2 miles to T Junction, turn left, stay on this road till you reach the village sign entering Bircher, as the main road swings 90` to the right, continue straight over into a lane signposted for Yarpole, go through the village of Yarpole, Oaker Wood is one mile the other side of Yarpole.
