Newhaven Fort

"what are we doing today?"

Newhaven Fort offers a fun day out for the whole family.

It is a massive site with loads of room to run around. The ramparts, guns and tunnels are all available to explore and we have an outdoor adventure playground for the under 12s. Learn what is was like to be a soldier stationed here, experience being in an air-raid shelter simulation, or try and imagine living on the same food rations as people did in the 1940?s ? especially as there weren?t any sweets back then!!

There are children?s workshops and fun packed special events throughout the year including a scary Halloween trail and an Easter Quiz.

Why don?t you come along dressed up? Many children visit dressed as soldiers or evacuees ? it?s so much fun!
