Offering the perfect day out for the whole family, Newhaven Fort sits on 10 acres of beautiful surroundings with plenty of room for your little ones to run around. The ramparts, guns and tunnels are all available to explore and even has an outdoor adventure playground to run wild around.
Come explore the extraordinary Victorian structure, you're guaranteed to learn something new and exciting! Unlock the secret stories of the people who lived and worked at the Fort by dressing up as a soldier, experience an air-raid in the Blitz Bomb Shelter simulation and get a family photo beside the huge war guns! There are also children's workshops and fun packed special events throughout the year including a scary Halloween trail and an Easter Quiz.
Your little ones can also enjoy the outdoor adventure playground just for under 12's, letting their imagination run wild. Why don't you even come along dressed up? Many children visit dressed as mini soldiers diving head first into the Blitz history.
