Needles Park Sand Cliffs
Alum Bay, Isle of WightAbout Needles Park Sand Cliffs
The Needles Park is the Isle of Wight's most popular visitor attraction and happily overlooks the Island's most famous landmark, The Needles Rocks and Lighthouse. With its famously multi coloured sandy beach that you can descend to by thrilling chairlift, this is an iconic day out on the Isle worth working into your schedule.
There's a terrific range of family fun to be had here with kids of all ages, with highlights including loads of kiddie and family rides, 9 holes of Jurassic Golf and their awesome 4D theatre too: a super modern 3D film production accompanied by well-timed wind, spray and bubble effects plus a moving floor!
There are also 2 boat trips to choose from in Alum Bay: the 20 minute long slow cruise to the lighthouse, or the 15 minute super-fast trip which whips you around on the high speed RIB!
Plus Water Walkerz and Water Peddlerz put the kids in charge of the wet stuff in a variety of vessels for amusement, and you can watch seriously gourmet candies being made at the Sweet Manufactory. Are they for sale too? We think they might be!
