Methill Heritage Centre offers a frequently changing set of exhibitions to keep visits here fresh and interesting.

No permanent trails or games for smaller kids, but often host fun, family-oriented exhibitions with lots of activities to take part in, so it's definitely worth timing a visit to coincide with a special day. As an example, in September 2011 they ran an Egyptian day where the kids learn to write in hieroglyphs, get to dress up and hear stories, as well as the exhibits themselves.
As well as interpreting the social and cultural history of the area, an important part of the Centre's work has been to bring examples of cultural experience and creative work from throughout the country to Methil, and make them directly and easily accessible to people throughout the area.
