About Metheringham Swimming Pool
Metheringham Swimming Pool is a community run, outdoor heated pool open from May to September each year, operated by local volunteers. This is one of those great British treats which is ultimately on a use it or lose it basis: every family visit means not just fun for you but it means a huge amount to the lido too, including it still being there next year! So that's every excuse you had void. Got sunshine? Then go!
They offer open sessions when you can freestyle it en masse, private party hire for a treat and supported swimming lessons to get you started: regardless of what age that is! There are professional lifeguards there to keep you all safe, too.
Metheringham outdoor heated swimming pool is available for anyone to use and with separate sessions for adults and lane swimmers you don't have to worry about your happy kids bothering anyone: they'll all be happy kids too! In addition to their friendly public open swimming sessions, they are also available for lessons and party hire and again it all helps with keeping the place running so do the town a favour and give them all the business you can! And be sure to double check the timetables before you get your trunks on.
