Lytham Hall
Lytham Hall A Georgian hall steeped in history and set in a wonderful country park.
We have historian guided tours of the hall, which tell about the lives of the colourful Clifton family, their horses and other hobbies. We have a park ranger in the grounds three days each week and a host of different interesting outdoor activities for families. See our website for information about our events programme.
Free entry to the country park Monday to Friday; closed Saturdays; charges apply on Sundays; tours of the hall available on Sundays: charges apply.
Lytham Hall has a tea room open every Sunday during the season (Easter to the end of October) 12.30pm to 4.00pm. Visitors are welcome to picnic in the park. High chairs in the tea room.
All food served at Lytham Hall is ‘home made’ using the finest of local produce.
Friends of Lytham Hall have a small shops selling a limited range of child-friendly products on Sundays only.
Lytham Hall has disabled toilets and baby changing facilities, sorry no toddler seats available.
Lytham Hall is able to provide visitors with hot water only on Sundays when the tea room is open. We do not otherwise have facilities for heating baby foods.
Trains run from Preston and Blackpool South to Lytham: the station is near the main gate to the estate. Regular bus services run from Blackpool and Preston to Lytham town centre. Lytham Hall is on the edge of the town centre.
The estate is buggy friendly and we particularly encourage cycling in the park. It’s a mile walk from the main gates on Ballam Road to the hall, but there is parking near the main hall. Dedicated parking for disabled folk or those with limited mobility; ramps available to access hall (ask staff); lift and stair lifts to tea room; lower hall only accessible to wheelchair users (discounted entry rates apply).
If you've had fun on your family day out to Lytham Hall, tell us about it your visit, so other people will know it's a great place to go as well.
