Lyme Regis Marine Aquarium is a small family run aquarium which prides itself on offering all our visitors a truly interactive experience.

In addition to showcasing the marine life of the Jurassic coast, we offer kids and adults the opportunity to interact with the sea creatures.

One of our most popular activities is the unique experience of hand feeding our shoal of very tame mullet. Kids lower their clenched hand containing food into our giant tanks and marvel as the fish gently suck and prod at their fingers and thumbs.

You can also hold a live starfish, touch a crab and get up close with a giant lobster.

Public toilets are situated close by.

Unfortunately we don’t sell baby food or offer milk warming facilities, however both are available within a short walk.

Lyme Regis Marine Aquarium is situated on the end of the historic harbour wall known as The Cobb. When you arrive in Lyme Regis simply follow the signs for the seafront. Lyme Regis is approached on the A3052. There are two long stay car parks in Lyme Regis, both of which are within walking distance of the aquarium. A park and ride service operates during busy summer periods. The town is also well served by local buses.

We are buggy and wheelchair friendly, all on one level.
