"what are we doing today?"

London Canal Museum is housed in the capital's only remaining Victorian ice warehouse just around the corner from King's cross.

There is an old-fashioned barge for you to explore and a discovery trail with Henrietta Horse that leads right to her replica stable. Fun-filled family activities take place all year long with special activities sessions at Halloween.

"i'm hungry"

Drinks available in the Canal Shop. There are plenty of nearby pubs and cafes for snacks and meals.

"Can I have one of those?"

There are all sorts of canal goodies in the shop; craft materials, children's books, souvenirs, toys and stationery.

"i need a wee"

Disabled toilets are available.

"are we there yet?"

The museum is at 12-13 New Wharf Road just 5 mins walk from King's Cross station.

The canal is highly accessible for prams and wheelchairs.

We do strongly suggest you ring London Canal Museum before you set off on your family day out, just to make sure they are open and to confirm admission prices, there is nothing worse than disappointed kids in the back of your car after a long journey.

Group: One adult goes free with 10+ children. Opening Times: Open: Every Tuesday-Sunday and Bank Holiday Mondays. Closed: Normal Mondays and 24th, 25th, 26th December. Late night openings until 1930 on the first Thursday of each month.
