Local Haunts is concerned with 'bringing the past to life', in and around Portsmouth - a past, that is interwoven in every brick throughout the City.

We operate throughout the year with walks, talks and bus trips in the day time, Tours by Twilight and late night Ghost Bus Tours in the evenings.
We are also available for Weddings, Proms and all Private Hire.

We are the proud owners of Alf, our old London Routemaster Bus, who has been cleaned and painted, and restored to his former glory and he is accompanied by a Tour Guide on every trip.

Recreating history through storytelling, we visit the darker side of the city too, showing historic Portsmouth in a different and somewhat darker light...

Hop on at any of our Local Haunts bus stops:
Starting at 1.30pm, from The Royal Marines Museum car park (free parking for our customers)
1.32pm - Beach Huts, near St. Georges Road
1.35pm - Canoe Lake (beach side)
1.40pm - D-Day Museum
1.42pm - Clarence Pier, Stand C
1.45pm - The Hard Interchange, Stand A, where the guided tour will begin at 2.00pm.
The tour lasts approximately 1½ hours.
