Linlithgow Spy Treasure Trails' treasure hunts are a fantastic way to explore a new town or village whilst enjoying a fun walk in the fresh air.

Children love competing to solve the clues and don't even realise they are learning about the area and getting some exercise!

The answers to the clues are located on existing monuments, buildings and structures: some are easy to find, some are a little bit trickier! You can choose to solve a mystery, go on a treasure hunt or crack the code to save the world in a spy mission.

After you have completed the Trail you can enter your answer online to be in with a chance of winning a cash prize!

There are many restaurants, cafes and pubs along the Linlithgow Trail route giving you lots of choice for eating and drinking.

There are public toilets along the route with baby changing facilities.

The Trail begins on High Street. There is a nearby car park, where you should pay for 3 hours parking to complete the Trail and enjoy some of what Linlithgow has to offer. Free parking is also available. The train station is 5 minutes walk away and bus stops are located nearby.

Trails take around two hours to complete and can be downloaded and printed at home or ordered as a booklet to be posted from the Treasure Trails website. Going on holiday? Why not order a couple of Trails before you go? You'll have lots of fun and will see a lot more of the local area.
