It may be worth checking out Lightwater Valley's website to see if there are any special events or seasonal fun things to do that may be going on during the day.
We do strongly suggest you contact Lightwater Valley before you set off on your family day out, just to make sure they are open and to confirm admission prices, as there is nothing worse than disappointed kids in the back of your car after a long journey.
Season runs March through October (see website through the link for exact opening dates).
Great selection of catering outlets including two food courts serving delicious hot meals, plenty of fast-food kiosks and a range of outlets serving drinks, snacks and sweets.
We recommend visiting The Granary Restaurant over at Lightwater Country Shopping Village which serves a wide range of healthy meals and provides a relaxed respite from the hustle and bustle of the theme park.
