At Langland Bay Beach just around the headland from the pretty Victorian seaside village of Mumbles lies the wide golden sands and rock pools of Langland Bay. This is an extremely popular bathing beach for families, packed out during most of the summer.
It's a bigger surfing destination during the winter, the low tide right hand wave over Crab Island is meant to be one of the best surfing experiences to be had in Wales.
Immediate facilities include toilets with disabled access, lost child centre, first aid post, and a variety of shops and cafes. Beach huts are available to hire 01792 635436; as are tennis courts 01792 363105.
