Simply follow the Trail, solve the clues and see the sights!
Treasure Trails offers puzzle-themed walks across Wiltshire and the UK for you to delight in discovering treasures all around. Work out the secret code in a spy mission, find the location of hidden treasure or discover whodunnit in a detective mystery-style adventure. Children will enjoy looking for clues and those with reading and numerical skills can help solve them too. Great for family fun working as a team!
Trails can be purchased from our website and can be completed at your leisure and at your own pace. Follow the directions, hunt for clues, find hidden Wiltshire treasures, learn facts and enjoy the sights as you work together to find the solution.

On the Lacock Village Treasure Trail you’ll find a choice of outlets for refreshments including several pubs, tea houses and a bakery.
Toilet facilities are signposted close to the start and finish of this Treasure Trail.
The Lacock Village Treasure Trail starts by The Red Lion (SN15 2LQ) in Lacock which is well signposted from the A350 a few miles south of Chippenham. Head for the main car park or find parking for the disabled at The Red Lion. Lacock is on the Chippenham to Frome bus route (Faresaver X34/First 234) which passes Melksham station and close to the stations at Chippenham and Trowbridge.
With level terrain, the short walking Lacock Village Treasure Trail is a pleasure for all levels of ability. Traffic is minimal in the quiet lanes and there’s a picnic area with a playground. The Trail will take about 1.5 hours but you might allow longer to learn about the history of photography at the Fox Talbot Museum or to visit Lacock Abbey with its woodland gardens and ancient cloisters. The Lacock Village Treasure Trail is considered suitable for accompanied wheelchair users. Traffic is minimal in quiet lanes with reasonably level terrain and dedicated parking for the disabled.
