Kelburn Castle Country Centre
Whatever the weather there's always something to keep the kids occupied at Kelburn Castle Country Centre.
Their most popular attraction is the Secret Forest, a complex of woodland paths and raised walkways with surprises at every turn.
Then, there's the famous Adventure Course, a challenging trail of high walkways and rope swings, their fortress-style Stockade, with a 20ft high tower and the Playbarn, a softplay maze of tunnels, slides and dens.
Playing by the spectacular waterfalls is always an irresistible attraction for children. The Waterfall Pool, set in a spectacular sandstone grotto is only 250 yards from the Centre.
At Kelburn we have an exciting range of fascinating wildlife from rutting Roe Deer to squeaking voles and swooping buzzards. Thanks to the guided Ranger Walks you can find out all about these creatures from the house team of expert staff.
Throughout the year you can also see Peregrine Falcons and Hen Harriers gliding over the glen and Dippers may be seen perching on the rocks. Badgers, Otters and Minks rustle around the burn.
