The Natural History Centre in Godshill is housed in a delightful 17th century Squire's cottage, Opened by the BBC in 1965; the entrance to this exciting world has its own fish pond with Koi carp and display fountains.

Not only is there an assortment of exhibitions on shells, animals and crown jewels but there is also a Shell Shop.

We do strongly suggest you ring Isle of Wight Natural History Centre before you set off on your family day out, just to make sure they are open and to confirm admission prices, there is nothing worse than disappointed kids in the back of your car after a long journey.
