Isle of Purbeck Aquarium

We encourage our visitors to take their time - sit and gaze - to be amazed by the beauty and grace of the fish and other creatures...

...and we love our visitors to ask questions!

Our Seahorses will enchant everyone and children are also encouraged to draw and colour what they see in our captivating aquariums.

We even provide magnifying lenses so that our very tiniest animals can be seen and enjoyed too!

...and we have films about the Jurassic coast showing regularly as well.

Isle of Purbeck Aquarium is in the village of Wool, near Wareham in Dorset. It is on the junction of the A352 and East Burton Road, just before the level-crossing as you enter Wool. Train -Wool Station is 1 minute walk. Bus – Bus stop at Wool Station is 1 minute walk.

Allow about an hour so you have time to relax and really look at all the animals, and watch the audio visual presentation. We are happy for you to take photographs, but flash photography is NOT permitted as it is harmful to the animals.
