Described as a little gem, the ICBP offers a wonderful day out in beautiful grounds.

As well as the opportunity to see many rare birds of prey at close quarters, there are three flying demonstrations every day with informative and humorous commentary, delivered by the experts in this field. A world-renowned venue, it is truly one of Gloucestershire's treasures.

A wide range of courses in falconry, raptor husbandry and much more are available - for a full list, please check out the website.

The centre is also a popular venue for photographers, offering close and uncluttered views of many magnificent birds, as well as a variety of photography courses.

The centre is 2 miles out of the town of Newent. Glos Satnav GL18 1JJ - If approaching from Newent, the satnav will announce that you have arrived some 500m before you reach the destination - just keep going!! Newent is accessible from the M50, coming north from Wales, otherwise, follow the signs south from Gloucester.
