INTECH Science Centre and Planetarium

"what are we doing today?"

Set within a spectacular pyramid this centre aims to bring science principles to life by a wide range of interactive exhibits.

For example making an arch bridge, creating a tornado spout, an electric circuit, or bubbles in viscous liquids.

What makes this visit special is that children and their parents/grandparents often work together on the activity and having fun.

The Planetarium is the largest capacity in the UK and has amazing shows. The films are digital, great quality with cinema standard sound.

Every school holiday there is a programme of activities and the website will give details.

"i need a wee"

Mums, dads, grandparents - be prepared to have a go too. Many visitors comment that - science was not this much fun in our day.
