Hitchin Swimming Centre offers a 50m heated outdoor pool (open between 29th May - 12th September 2010), a 25m Deck Level, 8 Lane Heated Indoor Pool, Toddlers Pools - Heated Indoor and Outdoor and unusually Poolside Baby Seats.

There is extensive parking available.

Easy disabled access and disabled pool hoists.

Other facilities include a Cafeteria/Vending Service and sunbathing terrace.

We do strongly suggest you ring Hitchin Swimming Centre before you set off on your family day out, just to make sure they are open and to confirm admission prices, there is nothing worse than disappointed kids in the back of your car after a long journey.

Indoor Pool
Monday to Friday: 6.30am - 10pm
Saturday and Sunday: 7am - 6pm
Wednesday evenings: 8pm - 10pm - for Ladies only
Thursday evenings: 8pm - 10pm - for Adults only
Off-Peak = Monday to Friday 9am -5pm
Peak = At all other times and all School Holidays
Outdoor Pool
The outdoor pool will open on Saturday 29th May 2010.
Monday to Sunday: 8.00am - 6.30pm
Extended Opening hours from 26th July - 31st August
Due to popular demand, the outdoor pool will be extending the opening hours on Mondays and Wednesdays only. The pool will open at the usual time of 8.00am and stay open until 8.00pm.
