Great Animal Centre, two dedicated children's play areas providing a range of activities for children aged from 3 years up to 14 years, rowing boats, tram rides, pitch and putt - loads to do - wow!

Hi, we visited heaton park recently and it was really a good fun day out and cheap. There's so much to see we ended up not seeing it all and we were there 5 hours, they also have regular events on which we found out by flyers in the park.

The highlight for my little one was stroking cows and goats and feeding the squirrels which come right up to you...which i have never experienced before...it really is such a large lovely park with plenty to do and doesn't cost the earth to go...so much so we are going back in a couple of weeks for a funday being held there.
