Havre Des Pas Bathing Pool

A large sea water pool, Havre des Pas bathing pool was home to Jersey Swimming Club for many years.

A major re-fit took place in 2001 after the pool fell into disrepair, and since the beginning of 2005 it has been managed by Education, Sport and Culture.

The pool features a shallow children's pool and a central platform where older children and adults can jump and dive into the pool. The pool water is refreshed every day with the high tides, on high tides the children's pool is fully covered with the sea, so if you have young children it might be best to contact them ahead of time and check when you can access their pool! Wetsuits recommended for the small ones, it can get pretty fresh!

The Polar Bears Swimming Club (affiliated to Jersey Swimming Club) is based at the pool and swim throughout the year. The pool offers Jersey’s only deep water pitch for water polo, and events hosting visiting teams take place during the summer months. The Christmas day swim takes place each year at 11am with approximately 100 swimmers taking part.
