Explore the forgotten world of paints, stencils, stamps, sponges, clay, collage, batik: there is an Art Adventure for everyone!
Anyone can join in our clubs, workshops, evening classes or just 'pop in and paint'!
We provide the inspiration, you bring the imagination. An Experienced Art Teacher will guide you from design ideas to finished masterpiece. All tools and materials are provided.

Hands-on Art Adventures offer refreshments to customers taking part in an Art or Craft activity at a small cost.
Craft kits available to make at home. Online arts&crafts club - a new activity to try each month, art materials available to buy as a kit at the shop. Unique ceramics and art work on sale in our Studio Gallery.
Single toilet and small baby changing room available.
We can provide a bowl of hot water to warm baby food.
Bus: the 71 and 77 buses stop outside the Toby Carvery on A308/Straight Road, 2 min walk to Hands-on Art Adventures up St Lukes Road beside the Toby Carvery. Car: turn off the A308/Straight Road at the Toby Carvery onto St Lukes Road/B3021; Free car park opposite Hands-on Art Adventures Studio.
Hands-on Art Adventures is an ideal whole-family activity from babies to grandparents. Buggy friendly. Wellies are welcome on snowy and rainy days. Single toilet and small baby changing room available. Refreshments on sale. Advance booking recommended to avoid disappointment, particularly during school holidays. Disabled access to shop possible although there is a small, wide step.

No Studio Fee. Each pottery item is individually priced, includes: all
equipment and art materials, guidance on technique, glazing and firing, up to 2 hours
painting time in our Studio.
