Hamsterley Forest
There is loads to do at Hamsterley including trail marked walks and mountain bike routes, all of varying difficulty and durations.
There is a visitor centre, tearoom, children's adventure play area and mountain bike hire. There are events/activities held in the forest including Den Building, organised mountain bike rides and bird feeding, at various times throughout the year.
There are plenty of picnic areas and BBQs are allowed. Dogs are welcome too. This is a great day out with something for everybody of any age.
