Hampton Pool had a magnificent new 36 metre tiled pool built in spring 2004.

The water is maintained to a temperature of around 28 degrees, summer and winter.

Normally there are two or three lanes dedicated to fast or steady swimmers, the rest of the pool area is for the enjoyment of the recreational swimmers and families.

In addition there is a shallow learner pool 12.5 metres and just over 7 metres wide. This is a pool where babies and toddlers can safely get their 'water legs' with their parents.

They also have a grassed area for you to just laze in the sun between your swims, pre-bookable classes in everything from life saving to kids' yoga and a sun deck cafe.

We do strongly suggest you ring Hampton Pool before you set off on your family day out, just to make sure they are open and to confirm admission prices, there is nothing worse than disappointed kids in the back of your car after a long journey.

Daily opening but certain times have restricted public access due to school use etc, this varies on a daily basis and also changes during holiday times so please contact them with a specific day.
