"what are we doing today?"

Grosvenor Park Miniature Railway is fun for all the family.

Miniature train rides set in the beautiful surroundings of Chester’s Grosvenor Park. Only a few minutes walk from the city centre.

The railway runs Diesel and occasionally Steam trains around a ¼ mile circuit, over the long wooden viaduct, round the pond full of Ducks, Moorhens and a large white Goose. Through the trees passing tame squirrels, along the back straight and round the bend into our small station full of your favourite Thomas The Tank souvenirs.

"i'm hungry"

Large park area suitable for picnics, premises in the park selling Tea’s, Coffee’s and Ice-creams.

healthy food

Just lots of healthy fresh air.

"Can I have one of those?"

We sell a large range of Thomas The Tank items, along with pens, pencils, bubbles, whistles and a small range of soft toys for the girls. We have our own on line web shop for all your Thomas The Tank requirements please see our web site for details.

"i need a wee"

Toilets are available in the park during the Summer, with disabled access and facilities to change baby.

and baby come too...

We do not sell baby food. Our staff are happy to warm milk upon request.

"are we there yet?"

Grosvenor Park is located just off the City centre in Chester. It is off Grosvenor Park Road opposite to the visitor centre and close to the river and boats.

...got any top tips?

Bring a picnic lunch to enjoy in the park, plenty of open spaces and colourful flowers. Teas, Coffee’s and Ice-cream available in the park.
