Great Cockcrow Railway
The Great Cockcrow Railway is set in a rural location not far from Chertsey and the M25.
There is a choice of two routes, a non-stop tour around the extremities of the GCR, or a stopping trip, which takes you through the jungle.
Miniature signal boxes and station halts as well as authentic signs from bygone years add to the experience. Discounts are offered for double ride and family tickets.
Other facilities include a viewing platform where you can watch the engines being prepared and cleaned as well as a refreshment service operated by Loseley, offering drinks, savoury snacks, wonderful cakes and ice creams. Free car parking.

Take junction 11 from the M25 and head for A320 signposted for Woking. At first roundabout turn right, signposted Chertsey. Take the 3rd exit at the next roundabout, St Peter's Hospital will be on your left. At the next mini roundabout turn left B386 Windlesham then first right into Hardwick Lane. Brown tourist signs from this point. The GCR is approximately 1/4 mile on the right For SAT NAV use KT16 0AD
People with a physical disability or limited mobility will find it difficult to use the facility due to the low height of the railway carriages.
