Bring Out Your Inner Ape Think you, your friends and family can handle 3 hours of tree top adventure? Are you wild enough to climb 30ft up a rope ladder, Tarzan swing into a giant rope net then zip wire through trees, crawl through tunnels and tackle high wire rope bridges? If the answer's yes, you're ready to Go Ape.

Can You Go Ape? Are you over 10 years old? Are you taller than 1.40m? Do you weigh less than 20.5kg? If you've answered yes then you're ready to Go Ape!

Under 18's must be supervised by a participating adult. An adult can supervise EITHER two under 18 year olds (where one or both children are 10-15 years old) OR up to five 16-17 year olds.

There is a large restaurant with extensive indoor and outdoor seating offering a wide range of refreshments located at the Visitor Centre.

The Purple Mountain Bike Centre & Café can also be found at Dalby Courtyard.

The Café serves a full range of fresh homemade hot and cold food.

Toilets, including disabled toilets are available.

Access is via Thornton le Dale on the A170 Helmsley to Scarborough road. Follow the brown tourist signs. Access is also possible from the north of Scarborough via minor roads through Hackness and Langdale End.

Wear something you don't mind getting grubby and dress for the weather.

Dalby also has a fantastic and exciting adventure play equipment area for children to enjoy.
